Job Description:
○ Document fruit weight as received and mark bins as received
○ Confirm and sign the receipt for fruit (bill of lading) provided by driver
○ Create a receipt for driver
○ Calculate weights of fruit received and enter into computer
○ Create historical pack out reports and correct any errors
○ Check and document cold storage room temperatures
○ Check and document free chlorine and Ph levels in hydrocooler water
○ Make copies of fruit tags and log pages as needed
○ Return daily paperwork to the office
○ Pursuing a BS in an agricultural related major
○ Excel/Google Sheets experience preferred
○ Be able to lift box(es) up to 30 lbs
○ Able to work in both room temperature and cold storage (32-34 degrees)environments
○ Able to work long shifts during harvest, possibly work 6-7 days a week
We are looking for a driven individual who has a passion for the agricultural industry. Thiscandidate would also have an interest in seeing the packaging process from start to finish.The ideal candidate would put their problem solving and time management skills to the testwhile working within a fast paced work environment as they would be handling thebeginning of the packaging process.
