On-campus job. You must have 3 hour minimum blocks available. The job requires excellent oral, written
and verbal communication skills, along with excellent customer service. General Job safety duties
include but are not limited to the supervision of student projects in the Lyles College of Engineering
department. Candidate must be able to operate and demonstrate the operation of many different
power and hand tools. General light duty work will be required from employee while also supervising
multiple disciplines in the Engineering department. Such tasks as cleaning, organizing, disassemble and
repair of engineering related items will be required on a daily basis. Employee will also need to be in
charge of the college hand and power tool inventory. This would include checking out and inspecting
tool to students working under their supervision along with return check-in and inspection. The position
also requires that they pass and complete the LCOE Red tag safety test and possibly the yellow tag
machine shop test if so required.
