The Central California Public Health Consortium (CCPHC) Video Editing Internship
provides emerging media professionals with the opportunity to gain hands-on
experience in post-production and digital media development for regional public
health campaigns. Intern will apply technical and creative skills to produce
high-quality video assets designed to inform and engage Central California
residents about programs and services offered through their local health
departments.
The internship emphasizes professional workflow practices, technical proficiency
in editing software, and the development of storytelling techniques that effectively
translate public health information into compelling, audience-centered narratives.
Deliverables will include the production of short-form social media reels and videos (approximately 5 minutes in length) that highlight regional
public health programs and resources in Central California.
1. Good concept of industry-standard editing techniques to produce professional-quality
video content.
2. Technical proficiency in editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere
Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve).
3. Ability to translate creative vision into deliverables by editing raw footage into
cohesive narratives aligned with campaign goals
5. Good understanding of editing techniques: cutting, transitions, color correction, audio
balancing, and motion graphics.
IMPORTANT – PLEASE READ: This is an UNPAID INTERNSHIP. Central California Public Health Consortium is an approved internship site for academic internship courses at Fresno State. If selected for the internship you MUST ENROLL IN THE APPROPRIATE INTERNSHIP COURSE FOR YOUR MAJOR BEFORE STARTING YOUR INTERNSHIP HOURS.
