Asan intern, you will have the opportunity to gain valuablehands-on experience to participate as an active member of a project managementteam and provide support in the estimating and field engineering department.This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about learning and arelooking to kickstart their career in construction.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Essential duties and other responsibilitiesinclude, but are not limited to, the following:
· Reviewdesign documents, shop drawings and submittals for consistency with contractscope of work.
· Assistwith job site logistics.
· Identify,define, and procure required craft and subcontractor services.
· Monitorproject costs and identify areas for improvement.
· Documentdaily construction activities.
· Assistwith preparation of CPM schedule.
· Implementproject engineering procedures and other work controlling documents.
· Assistwith preparation of proposals, change orders, RFI’s, and letters of intent asneeded.
· Changeorder documentation and associated cost reporting and maintenance.
· Timecardreview and invoice processing.
· Maintaina good working relationship with field personnel and subcontractors.
· Committedto achieving a “Zero Accident Culture” by adhering to site safety protocols andOSHA safety standards.
· Assistwith compiling contract close out documents.
· Executeadditional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

RequiredEducation and Experience
- Currentlypursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Management, ConstructionEngineering Management, Mechanical Engineering, or related field preferred.
- Strongcomputer skills and familiarization with software programs to include projectdesign, job costing, scheduling, and estimating.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Abilityto work in a team environment.
- Excellentverbal and written communication skills.
