Under the directionof the Administrator, Special Education Local Plan Area, provide occupationaltherapy treatment to students with special needs enrolled in the educationalprograms of the Local Education Agencies (LEAs). This job class administers occupationaltherapy assessments to determine a student’s level of function relative to thestudent’s age and educational placement in such areas as fine/gross motor skilldevelopment, sensorimotor integration, self-care, and activities of dailyliving.
Possession of avalid license from the State of California and certificate of registrationissued by the American Occupational Therapy Association.Possession of a CPRCertificate preferred.
