Position Summary

As a Summer 2025 Intern, you will have opportunities to learn and contribute to what’s on trend in food & beverage while building a robust network, demonstrating leadership skills, and having fun.
Reporting to the Senior Technical Manager, the Documentation Specialist Intern will support projects related to updating ingredient specifications, customer technical documents and finished goods specifications.
The ideal candidate is detail oriented with the ability to assess data, and has strong writing skills, technical writing experience a plus.
Position Responsibilities
- Support Quality, Production and Documentation Specialists by updating existing documents to new ofi formatting.
- Work with Procurement team buyers and the documentation specialist to Identify missing ingredient specifications and request updated, missing specifications from suppliers.
- Complete comparison documents for ingredients with multiple suppliers.
- Compare customer specific specifications against internal standards for consistency.
- Review supplier records in Trace Gains for missing and/or expired records. Report missing critical documents to the Senior Technical Manager and assist with contacting suppliers for replacements and updates.
- Create process map for storage and updating of specification documents and related paperwork (for example, claims validation paperwork).
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements
- Currently enrolled at an accredited college or university, working towards a Bachelor of Science degree or higher.
The pay for this role in the state of CA is $22 HR and is based on the position responsibilities and geographic location.
Interns with a permanent address more than 35 miles from the work location are eligible to receive a stipend to offset relocation and housing costs.
