We are seeking a motivated and skilled Right of Way Agent to join our Outside Plant Operations Department. The ideal candidate will have a passion for telecommunication and a commitment to respecting the team and our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Research property ownership, existing easements, leases, special use permits, and assess restrictions or other stipulations
- Prepare easements, lease documents, special use permit applications, and right-of-way documents. Negotiate for easement acquisition
- Maintain all company files for easements, rights-of-ways, leases, special use permits, pole attachment agreements, etc.
- Proficiency in reading and researching survey maps, Assessor’s Parcel information, and proficiency in official records research at various Recorder’s office
Qualifications/Technical Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree, emphasis in real estate, law, land surveying or related field desirable.
- Knowledge of real estate law, easements and rights-of-ways including County, State and Federal agencies’ functions and permitting processes.
- Functional knowledge of CAD/GIS systems software, and proficiency in reading OSP Engineering schematics, and construction prints.
- Notary Public
- Valid Driver’s License required with no restrictions
