About the Internship
Trin Spa Skin & Wellness is seeking a creative, motivated intern with a passion for skincare, wellness, and digital marketing. This internship is designed for students seeking college/university credit only and offers hands-on experience across website management, ecommerce, social media, and brand content creation.
You’ll collaborate closely with the owner and team to support digital growth, refine brand presence, and help create educational and promotional content within a holistic wellness environment.
Responsibilities
Website & Ecommerce

Update, build, and optimize pages on our website.

Improve onsite SEO (meta descriptions, alt text, keyword placement).

Manage product listings and inventory on Shopify, Etsy, and other sales platforms.

Assist with designing banners, visual displays, and seasonal/holiday promotional graphics.
Email Marketing

Help draft and schedule newsletters, product spotlights, and sales campaigns.
Social Media Content Creation

Create and schedule posts for Instagram, TikTok, and related platforms.

Design graphics using Canva.
-
Shoot, edit, and produce short-form videos using CapCut, TikTok tools, or Premiere Pro.

Research trends (Reels, Stories, TikTok) and support community engagement.

Qualifications

Must be eligible to receive academic credit — this is an unpaid internship.

Familiarity with website platforms (WordPress, Shopify, Wix).

Comfort using Canva, CapCut, TikTok, Instagram, and email marketing tools.

Basic understanding of SEO and analytics.

Strong writing, organization, and attention to detail.

A genuine interest in marketing within the beauty and wellness industry.

Schedule & Format

Qualifications
Strong Writing & Editing Skills
Ability to craft clear, accurate, and engaging content through research, fact-checking, proofreading, and attention to tone. This includes writing for websites, product descriptions, reviews, newsletters, and social media.
SEO Knowledge & Keyword Awareness
Familiarity with basic SEO practices such as meta tags, keyword placement, and search optimization strategies to help improve website visibility and performance.
CMS & Analytics Experience
Comfort working in platforms like Shopify, WordPress, or Etsy, as well as using analytics tools to monitor engagement, track performance, and guide content improvements.
Attention to Detail & Research Ability
Skilled at verifying information, updating listings, and maintaining accuracy and consistency across platforms—from product pages to social content.
Technical Adaptability
Ability to learn and navigate various digital tools, including Canva, CapCut, email marketing platforms, and other content creation systems. Comfortable formatting, organizing, and transferring content between platforms.
Software Proficiency
Experience using Microsoft/Google Docs, spreadsheets, CRM or email software, and creative apps such as Canva and CapCut.
Learning Mindset & Team Collaboration
Flexible, curious, and open to feedback. Able to adapt writing style for different audiences and work collaboratively with marketing and design teams in a positive, creative environment.
IMPORTANT – PLEASE READ: This is an UNPAID INTERNSHIP. Trin Spa Skin and Wellness is an approved internship site for academic internship courses at Fresno State. If selected for the internship you MUST ENROLL IN THE APPROPRIATE INTERNSHIP COURSE FOR YOUR MAJOR BEFORE STARTING YOUR INTERNSHIP HOURS.
