Cash handling, interacting with customers, providing excellent customer service, stocking products from backroom to the sales floor, working with fresh produce, packaged meats, refrigerated and frozen dairy products. Safe food handling including scooping ice cream, packaging nuts and raisins, and handling fresh produce will be required as part of the essential job duties. Basic cleaning duties, sanitation and inventory organization will be a required part of the job as well.
Must have a valid CA driver’s license or equivalent. Employees should have a strong work ethic, an ability to show up on time, self-directed, able to take directions and the ability to complete tasks in a timely manner. Previous experience in retail, cash handling, or food preparation is preferred but not required.
