Plant Science Club

The goal of the California State University, Fresno Plant Science Club is to promote communication and involvement among students in the varied disciplines of plant, soil and crop science. It encourages students to participate in extracurricular activities and scholarship programs. It is also committed to the goal of promoting public awareness of agriculture.

Plant Science Club provides opportunities to gain hands on experience producing crops including:
– Maintenance of the 1/2 acre student farm on the NE corner of Barstow & Chestnut
– Management of the Valley Farm Garden at the Fresno Chaffee Zoo
– Involvement in Project Sweet Potato
