Assistant Coach Job Description
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Assistant Coach that will travel to school sites across the Central Valley and coach the Cano Bros Boxing programs. Duties of the Assistant Coach include arriving at the scheduled site on time, assisting Head Coach in leading students through our boxing programs, take attendance and ensure a successful boxing class. The ideal candidate should have the ability to read and assist in lesson plans, teach a variety of age group students, assist head coach in keeping students attention and giving positive reinforcement. Ultimately, a successful Assistant Boxing Coach will instill hard work, discipline and self confidence in all students through the sport of boxing.
Responsibilities:

Review lesson plan by 1pm.

Brief before class

Maintain accurate attendance record

Assist in leading students through lesson plan

Debrief after class

Bring all required equipment to class
Requirements:

Ability to adapt

Keeping tablet charged and ready for work hours

Clocking in and out at scheduled times

Attend scheduled class

Attend mandatory Saturday Boxing Academy on the 2nd Saturday of the month

Ability to navigate through Google Drive

Ability to read lesson plans

Ability to navigate through Cano Bros Boxing app
