Still Exploring

The Career Development Center provides various resources for students and alumni who are still exploring their career options. Several opportunities to engage with professionals in a number of fields are available through career fairs, career and alumni panels, and networking events. These opportunities can assist you in narrowing down potential career interests. Additionally, you can meet with your designated Career Liaison to receive tailored guidance on potential careers.

Next Steps:

  1. Start with a Career Assessment – Complete the Focus 2 Career Assessment and/or SparkPath Challenge Cards to explore career options that might be a good fit for you. We encourage you to explore and follow any career community that aligns with your interests, goals, and career plans. Visit the Choose Your Major & Career page on our website to learn more about career assessments and the career development process.
  2. View the Career Pathway Series videos on our YouTube Channel: Hear from recent Fresno State Alumni as they share their personal and professional journey to fields in Health and Human Services, Public Service, Water Resources, Business, Media, Agriculture, and much more.
  3. Explore and follow career communities that align with your interests, goals, and career plans. Career Communities are a great way to access information and additional resources to continue to explore your options and connect to potential opportunities.
