Job Purpose
The Human Resources Intern will work collaboratively with our Corporate Human Resources Department and Leadership Team. This internship will expose the intern to all aspects of our HR System and will provide exposure to the day-to-day responsibilities of the HR Department. The focus areas include HR administration, recruiting coordination, onboarding and providing general HR project support.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Develop and Maintain HR Compliance and Knowledge
· Develop current knowledge of HR Laws and Regulations
· Stay informed of new developments in the HR field
· Develop a working knowledge of HR information databases and searchable resources
Learning and Development
· Cultivate interpersonal skills
· Foster time management skills
HR Administration
· Assist with recruitment, advertising career openings, and new hire onboarding process.
· Assist with Company training and development initiatives including content research and development of training materials, programs, and presentations.
· Assist with Company employee activities including preparation of the Company Recognition Dinner, and various other Company hosted events.
· Maintain, update, and monitor all social media recruiting platforms and company websites.
· Assist with answering of phones, relaying messages, coordination of mail, and other miscellaneous front office duties.
· Maintain and comply with Company policies on ethical standards and business practices, and maintain the utmost privacy when viewing or preparing confidential company correspondence.
· Complete other assignments and special projects as requested.
Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Education and Experience
· Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Human Resources, Business Management, or Business Administration.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Word)

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
· A valid California Driver’s License
