Summary: Under the direction ofthe Information Technology Manager, this position provides daily support foroperations of the Credit Union’s computing resources and provides support tocredit union staff for routine issues relating to software, hardware, networkand applications. Investigates and follows up with answers as required. Coordinates requested service calls withNetwork Engineers and I.T. personnel.
Essential Duties andResponsibilities:
Provides first levelsupport via telephone according to established service levels.
Maintains Help Desktracking software and coordinates Network Engineers and other I.T. personnel toperform service calls.
Reports open problemsand prioritizations to the Information Technology Manager.
Provides support todesktop systems and applications for all credit union systems.
Ensures consistentavailability and high quality support of hardware and software systems.
Acts as the liaisonbetween branches and the I.T. department for support needs including suppliesrelated to printers, workstations, and telecommunications.
Responsible forpurchasing branch I.T. related supplies as directed by the InformationTechnology Manager.
Develops and maintains documentation asdirected by the Information Technology Manager.
May be required toperform occasional field calls as directed by the Information Technology Manager.
Exercises awareness inregards to suspicious activity, money laundering or fraudulent behavior as itrelates to cash transactions and overall transaction activity and document anysuch behavior so SAR filings can be considered.
Ensures compliancewith all safety, security and compliance programs including but not limited toBSA, AML, OFAC, Branch Security and Safety.
Performall other related duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
Associate degree fromtwo-year college or school; or two to three years’ related experience and/ortraining; or equivalent combination of education, experience or training. Financial institution experiencepreferred.
