RRG Capital Management is looking to hire an Analyst for a full-time internship in RRG’s Investments Team to work closely with senior team members for planning and executing a variety of farming and water investment strategies and research initiatives. The position will be based in RRG’s Los Angeles office supporting deal teams primarily focused on opportunities in the agricultural, energy, and water sectors with a focus on sustainability.
About This Position:
The internship is scheduled for the summer of 2024, with an estimated start date of May or June 2024 and an estimated end date of August or September.
The RRG team is focused on support for its impact investments strategies, specifically seeking additional support to (i) develop fund materials, (ii) complete economic assessments and (iii) perform diligence on pipeline projects. This role will provide critical support, including drafting materials for the development and sharing of recommendations senior leadership and investors.
The successful candidate will assist in:
- Analyzing companies, industries, historical and prospective financial information
- Analyzing M&A market trends and industry research
- Building financial models and performing valuation for investments in agricultural, renewable energy, and water projects and companies
- Scheduling and project management
- Tracking deals and writing deal memos
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer, as well as occasional travel in California’s Central Valley.
Comments:
- This is a paid position.
- Internship length is a minimum of twelve weeks.
- Candidates for this position must be legally authorized to work directly as employees for any employer in the United States without visa sponsorship.
- No relocation benefits will be provided for the role.

- Potential path for a full time Investments Analyst position upon graduation.
The pay range for this role is $25-$30/hr. Individual compensation will be commensurate with the candidate’s experience aligned with the Firm’s internal leveling guidelines and benchmarks.

- An undergraduate student with an expected graduation date by June 2025

- Interest in sustainability and the agriculture and water industries
- Experience and/or interests in strategy consulting, mergers and acquisitions, regulatory and environmental policy, project development, and/or financial analysis
- Experience with Microsoft Excel is preferred
