Very few things in life feel as good as being called in for a job interview. But that excitement can quickly fizzle out once you realize that you now have to go in and successfully answer those interview questions. Which begs the question: How do successful women answer interview questions?
Communities of color face significant barriers in accumulating wealth, stemming from factors such as discriminatory practices, limited access to affordable higher education, and restricted economic opportunities. If our communities aim to prosper, we must change the way we spend, invest, acquire, and even think about money.
As students from diverse backgrounds navigate the internship application process, they may wonder whether to highlight or hide their identities as BIPOC, LGBTQ+, First Generation, Black and African American, Latino, economically disadvantaged, or women. This article will explore the pros and cons of emphasizing diversity on internship applications.
